Yes, I was saddened to see this,

Oh no, Margo was one of my favourite characters of all time! She played her so well, the icy sarcasm coupled with a vulnerability which showed when she realised she was slightly different to other people and had no sense of humour. 😂

Thank you dear lady for making me laugh so many times and for being a true Brit. 💐

RIP ... she was such a good actor and brought enjoyment to so many.

That is sad news- I never thought of her as very old, that just leaves Felicity Kendall😢😢

How sad we've been watching 'The Good Life' on I Player and Margo was my favourite character .

How sad, I loved her in everything she did, especially To the Manor Born. Her witty and scathing remarks were impeccably timed.

What a shame, she was such a brilliant comedienne.

So sad to hear this. I thought she was fabulous.
I saw her a few times at Chichester Festival Theatre, she had such stage presence it was an honour to see her.
I recently re watched to the Manor Born, forgot how good that was.
She was iconic as Margot and perfect as Audrey fforbes-Hamilton.
RIP Dame Penelope.

I didn't realise how old she was. I have loved everything she has worked in, an excellent actor. She will be one of the few sadly missed.
