I think it's brilliant that you are being chosen to go to as many interviews as you are, in your area. That's no consolation to you unless you get a job that you like, but it's nice to know that there are jobs out there.

They have both, but on both occasions (1st interview and second) they have called me on my mobile.

Will they phone you on your mobile, or have they only got your landline number, phoenix?

Still no word from dartington, but they did say it might not be until tomorrow.

It may simply be that their protocol says that they will take up references after the interviews - lots of places do this.

Nonnie thanks for that, I suppose I am pleased to have got this far, but things are going to get very difficult and complicated if I don't get the job.

I feel so nervous, I keep checking my inbox, my theory being that they will probably email if it's "no" and phone if it's "yes", not that I think it will be. Of course, it could be even worse, they might ring and I'll think that all's ok, and they then say the opposite.

But if you don't get it you were down to the last 3 out of 60!!!!! That in itself is brilliant but even if your CV was what got you the first interview you beat off another 5 at that point so whatever you are doing must be right. You deserve congratulations for what you have achieved so far and should be feeling really good about yourself. Bravo!

I did apply for an office administrator position, received this reply:

( blank) has asked to me to write to you to confirm receipt of your application and to let you know that she will be choosing candidates for interview within the next couple of weeks. Interviews will take place the week commencing 3 March.

Haven't been contacted yet though.

I really do like the sound and "feel" of the one today, but I just feel that I won't get it. I really wanted that other one a while back, and didn't get that either.
