I agree! I'd even go so far as to say I find him decidedly unattractive...

I enjoy him in Sherlock but certainly don't find him attractive. He works as Sherlock Holmes because even when played by Jeremy Brett Holmes is never what you'd call a Chick magnet.

It looks to me as if his face doesn't match the "split" thing, in that if you sort of measure from the top of the head to the chin, the eyes should be somewhere around the mid point.

OK so it's a couple of you. But I think Benedict Cumberbatch is rather fetching. (As was Robert Stephens and young Toby S has his mother's looks and his father's voice - quite a combination!)

He's certainly not good looking, but there is a certain something, a confidence. Perhaps having a wonderful name like Benedict Cumberbatch - and a posh education.

Just want to make it clear I'm not one of the Cumberbitches. Don't want to be associated with all that. I am an independent admirer. I do understand that not everyone will find Ben good looking. After all, thousands of women think Brad Pitt is attractive and I don't think he's anything at all.

I tend to agree with Ana about Jeremy Brett. I wouldn't say he was gorgeous but I did find him quite attractive.

I like BC and find attractive..I prefer quirky looks to Adonis /classic looks!
