I've discovered pages of free knitting patterns on LoveKnitting. bit.ly/2PpDzlH

This one by one of my favourite designers, Pat Menchini, is calling me.

I've recently signed up to LoveKnitting Oakleaf and I'm regretting it now. I've been bombarded with emails urging me to "spend ££££ and get 25% off". I've actually just gone back on their website today to de register.
The pattern you've posted looks lovely though.

I agree Chewbacca. LK are appalling spammers. I have set my email to autosweep and delete all they send me.

I was simply looking for a free basic sweater pattern and stumbled on them giving something away for a change rather than badgering me to spend more than I want to in order to get a discount.

I tend to order my yarn from Wool Warehouse who send the odd promo but generally don't spam.

You might care to look at www.ravelry.com for free patterns, OP. (They're not all free, but you can set the filter to browse only free ones). I've never been bothered by spam from them.

That sweater pattern is rather nice.

Thank you. I'm a Ravelry member notnecessarilywiser so I look there too.

Beautiful Skills have some good free patterns - but sometimes it comes up in German!

I registered today and downloaded 6 patterns, I started with ramona which is just right for a colourmart yarn on a cone

www.letsknit.co.uk/

lots of lovely designs on that site, I also downloaded easy spotted cushion, which will be just right to brighten up my sofa

btw, loveknitting had shocking customer service when I complained after they sent me yarn which was expensive and mismatched re dye colours. I will never use them or their sister company love crochet again

Thank you Simoneleriche and craftone for introducing me to 2 lovely new craft sites. Have now earmarked a lovely toddler sundress and quilt pattern to do. Trouble is they are numbers 51 and 52 on my to do list!! grin

ooh cascats, that made me smile. Trouble with me is that I keep being drawn to the colourmart sit and keep stashing cones of cashmeres and cashmere mixes. Its a complicated site but I am hanging onto their users on rav. I have some good bargains in beautiful yarns but I am talking cashmere, silk, merino etc. Trying to get my head around the nm numbers etc. I have to stop ordering. That ramona is one I will do in a silk/merino yarn called diamante. I found other summer tops on that site

Off to Google Colourmart ....

I had problems with LoveKnitting too. I'll never use them again.
I now use Deramores for all my wool and patterns.

I am all packed up, ready to exchange on a house I am moving to, downsizing she says. Yes downsizing stuff but no way my crafting stuff, I just love crafting and my stash is getting bigger even now. I am weak willed at the moment, been waiting 7 months to get to exchange and right now it is either yarn stash or chocolate, ok both
