My cardigan with pulled out wool

I knitted a cardigan a few months back that ended up way too big. This was put away in the drawer but I couldn’t leave it there as the wool was just too expensive. So I pulled it out and reknitted it with another pattern.

The wool is King Cole, Bramble and the shade is Loganberry. DK wool using 4mm needles.

That looks great, Purplepixie!

Recycling at its best, and I agree that the yarn was too good to lie in a drawer. The colours are lovely, and you should get lots of wear from the cardigan as it will go with anything.

Your cardigan is lovely! It reminds me of when I was a child and sat with hands up while my gran wound wool around them as she unravelled a knitted garment.

It's lovely Purplepixie. Similar colours to a sweater I've recently crocheted using yarn donated to our Knit & Natter group.

Great garments here. I'm grappling with the most annoying knitting pattern in the world at the moment as I'm obviously a glutton for punishment. It's got a central panel with a fancy cable design, smaller cables and twisted knit stitches. I hope I get the better of it but it's defeating me at the moment. The sleeves were easy-peasy but the front and back? Not at all. Ah well, never mind. I'll get there in the end.

MiniMoon I love your sweater - is it an easy crochet pattern? I do like to crochet as well. Well done to you.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words.

I made it from a patterns in the burda crochet magazine no. 09, 2021.
It had a boat neck that I didn't like, so I adapted the neckline. I'm an experienced crocheted so I found it simple enough to do.
Here is a link to the pattern.

MiniMoon - Thank you for the link - that will be another project for the future.
