I received a lot of good advice re travelling to Inverness to see my favourite band this year for their 40th Anniversary. In the end I managed to purchase a ticket to Inverness from Hertfordshire for £30 - shared a friend's b and b for 3 nights and travelled back with her after the gig. My DH picked me up from my friend's house near Leamington Spa.
Had a fantastic time at Runrig's Party on the Moor at the Black Isle show ground with 17,500 other fans. Met up with my 'Runrig Family' all in all had a great time.
