Have you ordered your copy?

Seems he's not a happy bunny these days.

From what I heard on the news this morning, he doesn't regret calling the referendum Chewbaccashock

I don't think David Cameron expected the public to vote to leave the EU. At the time I felt his only option was to stand down, now I feel he wimped out. To match Ed Miliband, David Cameron said in his manifesto that he would have a referendum on the EU. He did what he promised

Agreed, David Cameron is not to blame for the current mess. Theresa May handled the negotiations badly from the start and wasted three years. The remainers have fought tooth and nail to stop Brexit from happening. So hardly surprising we are where we are.

The referendum leaflet made VERY clear all the dreadful consequences of leaving the EU. That leaflet may have put off many potential leave voters. And yet despite all that heavy handed remain propaganda the people STILL voted to leave. I think that says it all.

Thanks Pantglas, quite a wide range of political parties.

GrannyGravy13 and Pantglas1 have pretty much reflected my view on the
D Cameron Memoirs. I'll buy the book and be pleased the proceeds are going to charity.
I've problably read most political diaries, memoirs, bios and autobios over the last twenty odd years. Just finishing "The Prime Ministers" by Steve Richards.
In an interview with Steve Richards about ten days ago at the launch of his book his view was that D Cameron would not be memorable.

Well he's not holding back is he - Gove, Johnson & Patel are the villains of the piece.

A bit of Blue on Blue verbal fisticuffs!

Although I am furious with DC for landing us in this mess and then walking away, I do have to snigger at his descriptions of Johnson, Gove, Patel etc., and agree with what he says about all of them. Just a pity he didn't let the electorate in on this a few years back and didn't let the liars spin their stuff. He is a busted flush, a man without a future other than as the man who made an absolute arse of the referendum and then walked away.
