I know it's early but my mind is turning to food.

I'm spoilt for choice as had an Ocado delivery yesterday and picked up a few odds and ends today - decisions, decisions! smile

I've got celeriac, red peppers and garlic roasting - will add meatballs.

Glass of chilled white Rioja whilst I wait smile

Jumbo prawn Kung Po from scratch and vegetable Chow Mein (home grown veg but bought noodles). I love cooking Chinese food! No pudding - neither of us are bothered with them but might have some cheese and crackers later while watching Manhunt.

Anglesey eggs:
Creamed potato with leeks and poached egg with cheese sauce
Wild Raspberries (just foraged) and cream.

We have our main meal at lunch time. It was Spaghetti Bolognaise, followed by stewed rhubarb.

Supper has been salad and quiche and fresh fruit.

Looking after DGD this afternoon so meal was semi prepared. Oven baked cod with mashed potato broccoli and parsley sauce. DH loves it as it reminds him of school dinners. Then apple crumble with custard. I put some raspberry jam in with the apple, also 'hid' a spoonful of not very good homemade marmalade in it.

Lazy meal. Green beans, peas and a TV cottage pie with sweet potato. I'm working a lot more hours now and don't have the time or inclination to do proper cooking.

Did have fat free yoghurt with foraged blackberries tho. Mmmmm

Your food has made me crave the noodles from my local Chinese take-away Trisha57. They are delish but I've only had them once in the last 3 months because of the calories!

I had lentil pasta with mushrooms, tomatoes and onions - followed by stewed apples (there's loads picked from the tree) and raisins with crumbled biscuits - all very nice!

TillyTrotter, there's no way I'd wait for a late coming home anyone! I'd eat when it suits me, leaving him to reheat his!

He said to do that Hetty but I waited. ?

We be are trying a new place for lunch today near Oxford. Dinner will therefore be something light, maybe a poached egg. This morning I am going to a Macmillan Coffee Morning, where I imagine there will be plenty of cakes. I’m taking one!
