Sorry for not posting sooner, but I've just finished Burial Rites. A superb book, told sympathetically but not sentimentalised. Written with maturity well beyond her actual years. I could really feel the chill in my bones when Hannah was describing bad weather. I was sad when the book came to its unfortunate conclusion as the story had really gripped me. What a difficult life these Icelanders lived.
