I didn't get my shed painted. Ran out of time and energy!

I painted the rest of my fence!

I painted the floor of my outside loo!

Welcome Davestan. It`s been a lovely warm, sunny day here, nice to go out minus coat for a change, even if it was to spend time at the hospital.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome davestan I`m a newbie too. Very hot and sunny in N Ireland dare I say it "too hot for me".

This morning at my painting group but no inspiration same as most of the others as well we were all `too damned hot`.

Good afternoon - another lovely sunny and warm day here.

Had a chap come to the house this morning to give a quote for looking after the garden (other chap has decided he prefers doing DIY) and he tried to do a 3-point turn in my road with is a very narrow road and the entire wheel came off his truck! His truck was literally across the whole road blocking off entrance and exit - drivers were not pleased. He had to wait for an hour for the AA and then the AA turns up on a motorbike - he isn't going to tow that truck far with that!

About 30 mins later, another vehicle came and dragged the truck onto a flatbed so at least it's been moved. I felt so sorry for the chap, he won't be able to work for a couple of days now.

As phoenix says, it is a beautiful day here in Devon. We are off to a celebration with the Rotary Club of Tiverton this afternoon, then down to visit another club in Kingsbridge this evening. Looking forward to it all - nice to be a bit more mobile, even if I can't yet drive. But !!!!

Just finished my on-line shop - and had a text to say Duncan the Cairn is better and now eating so the drip did the trick hooray! Pick him up later and £400 lighter - oh well
Try to do what I didn't do yesterday
Diet menu today is
Fish soup for lunch
Lamb steaks marinated in minty garlic and salad for supper
haven't got the calorie count in front of me though but both will be below 400

It's looking hopeful sunwise, and I'm trying to get enthusiastic about actually doing something!
I did have a busy day yesterday (in my defence), trawled round shops and bought new bedding. Washed it all, and last weeks bedding, dried it, and did a large pile of ironing!

Morning all! The sun is out here is SE Hampshire but there are still plenty of clouds too. The forecast is good though.

DH and his chum are going to Arundel on their bikes today to watch the Sussex v. Yorkshire cricket. As a born and bred tyke, DH will of course be willing on the white rose boys.

I might sort out some paperwork which has been waiting patiently for attention. I also need to dead-head some roses. Meanwhile I'll have a cup of coffee and think about it.

Good morning everyone, a misty sun here on the south coast, and the forecast is that it will be a hot day. A bit undecided what to do, bowls or the garden which is really getting on my nerves at the moment. A cup of tea will help the decision I think. Enjoy your days.
