Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dry and clear start here in Brackley this morning.
Usual shop and other things before I settle down to watch the Vuelta this afternoon, with a bit of luck most of noted riders I will see live in 3 weeks time in Yorkshire.
Mick

Seems the WiFi signal here isn’t strong enough to send a photo this morning!

Enjoy your meet up gillybob - bet you Geordie grans (how many will be there?) are a riot!

Aye up me ducks from a slightly cloudy North Leicestershire.

Park and book shopping with dgds before they go home tomorrow!

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny Essex by the sea.
Yesterday I went along for the ride to Eastbourne with DH, had lunch , a look around the shops and an ice cream by the beach.
DH picked me up about 2'sh and finally got home around 6. The M25 up to the Dartford Crossing was at a standstill and we were in the queue for over an hour. It really spoils a day out when that happens.
Haircut this morning ready for our holiday to Kos on Sunday. I will spend this afternoon sorting out what to take with us. Very excited about going away.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Guid mornin frae the Scottish border country where it's dreich and I have 3 loads of washing to get dried.
Back to some sort of routine after the holiday. Yoga and my diet for a start.
Hope everyone's day goes well.

Morning Mick, morning All from a bright corner of Somerset. The weather is brighter than we are after an absolutely foul trip back from Norfolk yesterday. Tried a different route, never again! Mr C is still sleeping as it exhausted him. Nothing planned other than switching on the washing machine and my final physio appointment this afternoon. Hope Friday is kind to everyone.

Fit like quines, fou ye dein'? Greetimgs faeAiberdeenshire. This bloody predictive text disnae ken doric.
It's windy today but there is some blue sky. A lazy day, I think, as I have lots of sewing jobs and I have found a pattern to make a smart Winter coat for the mutt.

Fish 'n chips tonight with friends at the golf club.

Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning All x Moghrey Mie.

A watery-looking sun poking out now and again but I don't think rain is too far away.

Off to GGS's 3rd Birthday today. I have the usual money in his card but my D will be his favourite granny because she's got him a pedal-car. Their house has a long hallway so he'll be pedalling merrily up and down all day. I was going to make a chocolate cake but it seems there's enough food inc. a cake from M&S so no need.

My ears will be ringing after the noise of all the kids, but who cares ? I'm lucky to be here for so many GGC !! Many would swap places.

Received some surprise money yesterday ( PPI ) that I hadn't even applied for ?, from a bank in the 90's. It felt like a win on the lotto, so into the bank it goes. I'll do the Euro tonight for luck.

Wishing everyone else a lucky Friday.

Good morning.
It's a rather grey and breezy morning here today, but for the moment still dry.
Not a lot planned for today. Got a pile of ironing to tackle but that's about it unless I decide to pop into town for a mooch around the shops.
Hope you all have a good day, whatever your plans. ?

Bonjour tout le monde from South Notts. It seems fairly bright at the moment.

Enjoy your holiday marydoll.

Should visit sister later. She 'updated' my new mobile on Tuesday which means I can get e-mails on it but it seems to have caused a problem with the laptop which is now not getting updates. I'm not sure this is an improvement. Just because she doesn't like getting her computer out doesn't mean I feel the same way. I expect a trip to the computer shop is in order but I'll leave it until next week.

I feel my brain has reached its capacity for understanding new technology and can't cope with any more if it is to hold onto any like sanity.

Anyway, I hope all is well with everyone.

Good morning from Malta where it is partly cloudy but still hot and sticky. Yesterday’s rain was a mere sprinkling which did nothing but make everything look filthy dirty.

DD3 is on her way to New York as we speak. She is meeting up with DD1 and spending a couple of weeks with her before school starts (she’s a nursery teacher), I shall have her on my mind until I know she has arrived. Daft, I know, but that’s me.

No exciting plans. Just a few errands to run locally.

Wishing everyone a good day.☀️

Good morning from a breezy, big-sky Hull. We’re on a campervan trip and going to the Freedom Festival in Hull. Went to Hornsea yesterday - there are so many places in the UK to discover! Been in Warwick/ Stratford last week - went to see the Restoration romp The Provoked Wife with Caroline Quentin. We had all just sat down, the opening music started, then the fire alarm went off! We were evacuated outside and I ended up by Caroline Quentin! Brilliant play! Have a good day, everyone.

Good morning to all you wonderful ladies (and Mick) ???

It's such a heartwarming thread, a family of 10s of 1000s, all chugging through life at different speeds and often baring, sharing and caring along the way. Long may it continue.
It's warm, with a pale grey sky today in Godalming. 17° rising to 21°, no breeze.
Nothing particular on the cards for me today. I enjoyed my evening with friends yesterday and took along a bottle of elderflower and rose presse.
I did not examine the label and shook it a bit before opening to add some to a glass of water.
Yes, it was a sparkling liquid and my 'crisp' white shirt got a soaking. ??
Of course...you drink it neat but I like the sweetness diluted.
Never mind.
The sun is now making an appearance and Yodel have announced that my parcel is 16 drops away - goody ? .
Their app has a map showing where they are in relation to your property.
Small things amuse...sigh ?
Before I leave, I must thank Marydoll for the shout-out (and I hope you continue to recover your health before Rome and the poncho purchases)
Gillybob will be on her usual Friday high so prob not 'of this world' and to every else who makes GN such a haven for us to unload, question, share, support and laugh, I hope the weekend gives you a chance to unwind and recharge your batteries.
Take care...????

Good morning from Nairn, it's like yesterday betwixt & between.
Although it is muggy.
Can't believe it's Friday already.
Are we conversing in other languages?
I'm not that great but will give it a go, ??

Cornwall is hanging onto a little sun and some breeze.

Electrician ploughing ahead with 2nd fix. smile .

Loading car up in an hour with charity shop things. The more I get rid of, DH brings more in. We are clearing step mother in law's house (she died last Feb). Down to the garage now. He's just brought back more "rubbish" he wants to keep! angry. I had a few words but it will make no difference.

Tricia55 Fri 30-Aug-19 09:50:56

Madainn mhath.

Does anyone know what I've just said? & what language it is?
