A well-buttered crusty white bread sandwich with very crisp streaky bacon and a fried egg, plus a big mug of builder's tea.
Mmm.

Recently on a princess cruise. Had loaded fries ,they were delicious, but definitely sometimes food

merlot, We had a basset once that climbed on the kitchen table and wolfed a wholevchocolate orange cake but couldn't waddle get off the table so couldnt get away with pretending it wasnt her!

Cheese on toast with Heinz tomato ketchup

Ooh, I had crumpets for lunch today. Didn't think to put marmalade on them. Next time.

Marmalade is mine, on toast , crumpets or hot cross buns/ tea cakes.

My OH's home made Mousakka (better than any I've had in Greece).
Banana sandwiches with the banana slightly mashed and a blob of strawberry jam.
Vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce poured over.

That's the only thing wrong with Greys, their heads are at kitchen counter height

We had a Rhodesian ridgeback who once ate a whole panful of sausages that were sizzling gently on the hob while I was on the phone!

Rice pudding with lovey brown skin . Hot on day one and cold left-overs with tinned pears the foldable .Yummy .

Mince and tatties with a dollop of skirlie.

Macaroni cheese. And cottage pie.

Corn beef hash with beans on the bottom and grated cheese on the top put in the oven till cheese bubbles and a dollop of brown sauce on it with a hunk of bread Mmmmm

Funny how mashed potato features so much!

Mine is corned beef mashed potato with a poached egg in the middle.

Had that last night, and it was just perfect.

Carbs in any form, with butter on. And cocoa, with digestive biscuits to dunk.

Frozen Cod steaks in cheese sauce
Poached egg on toast
Fish finger sarnies. Must be cod and the bread must be white.

No wonder I need to go on a diet.

I like egg(s) and chips too but, as I haven't made any proper chips for years, we haven't had that for ages.
