I've received a few messages asking to continue the 1000 words thread. It has obviously given many people pleasure and some positivity. For anyone who doesn't know, posters come on with their photographs of pretty much anything and we take it from there. Nature is always a good one.

Thank you Elliane the last thread was uplifting. Here's my contribution - always the canal as we're not going anywhere else!

Staying close to home now. This river maybe one of the smallest in Devon but it babbles past regardless.

Glad to see you back Ellianne and friends! thanks

I'm not going anywhere either, here's the view from my living room in the evenings which always has a calming effect.

Oh to be picnicking at those places. Streams, birdsong and clean air. I'm easily pleased. They're beautiful.

A few alliums to enjoy and think of summer.

Blossoming Tue 05-Jan-21 16:59:31

My daily walk, been missing this the last few days as it’s been too icy underfoot.

Hit enter too soon!

My crocuses that are blooming in the cloakroom, and cheer me up.

The canal outside my front door

Even the outskirts of London can be beautiful and peaceful

Ellianne Tue 05-Jan-21 21:57:55

Fabulous relaxing photos. Looking forward to more in the future.

Enjoying all the photos thank you. I took these 2 five days apart in early November on my daily walk.

Grannynannywanny Wed 06-Jan-21 00:44:46

PS.. I meant to say I took the 2 unedited photos standing in the same spot

Greyduster Wed 06-Jan-21 09:51:25

I took these at just about the same time last year out in the Peak District, looking toward Mam Tor and the Edale escarpment. All the snow was on the high ground last year - I hope it is this year!

A walk in Douglas Lanarkshire.

Namsnanny Thu 07-Jan-21 12:03:57

An industrial scene from earlier. Believe it or not I saw a Heron fishing here but he was too illusive for me.

Beautiful photos smile

Frosted berries

Ellianne Thu 07-Jan-21 16:16:53

Ooo those frosty berries look good enough to eat. NOT, unless you're a bird!

Greyduster Thu 07-Jan-21 16:24:47

One from our walk earlier. Shocking underfoot today. Deep sticky mud is horrible - frozen deep sticky mud is worse! But these trees on the deserted golf course were nice.

Ellianne Thu 07-Jan-21 16:36:02

Yes, it was slippery in the meadow here too.
Take care everyone.
