Good Morning Everyone,
Its looking like the start of a hot warm day if forecast is right here in brackley.
Plans are to go via Buckingham , this depends on whether the bus runs to time , if not direct to Bicester will decide on what snack I have when I get there .
Also with cycling on TV as well , plans to have a Chinses Curry later .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a sunny NE ?
Burst water main made yesterday difficult, I only had wet wipes and bottled water to prepare myself for day out.
Had a lovely lunch in a restaurant on the seashore and a glass of Champagne when we returned home.
Pleased you had a productive consultation gM, hope the chemotherapy helps.
Happy Birthday Marydoll, enjoy your day.
Weather is promising, enjoy the weekend.

Happy birthday Marydoll ! It’s mine today also

Good morning from a sunny Black Country.

It was a gorgeous day in Bridgnorth yesterday. My friend and I found a little cafe with a lovely outside patio area. The bus journey was eventful as it broke down in Bewdley (water leak), so we sat for half an hour before it was sorted.

Had a great catch up with friend who I haven't seen since last November, as she is always busy and out and about in their caravan, so hard to find matching dates when we are both free.

No real plans today, must get out in the garden though.

Wishing Marydoll a very happy birthday flowers

Good morning from a brightening Colchester. A warm dry day forecast.
We finished putting out our garden pots yesterday and hope today to sit out in the sun to enjoy it. Will have to hunt for the cushions in the garage first.

Happy Birthday Marydoll ??
and love to all ?x

Happy three-day event birthday, Marydoll; thoughts and prayers to grandMattie and her DH, and also to the DDs who are battling illness.

DS and new wife arriving later for a brief visit to relive their wonderful wedding two weeks ago. Hope there are lots of pictures. It will be so good to see them.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's 11° and rising. It looks a bit grey out but the high winds of yesterday have dropped. Marydoll have a lovely sandwich birthday! And happy birthday to creativeness too. Grandmattie that sounds better news to help your husband. Tillytrotter it's nice to see you posting.
Yesterday was a very lazy day. I didn't feel well and became very glum and introspective.
Today I have woken up feeling better. I'm excited as dgs1 is coming for a sleepover. It's the first time he's slept at my house since he was very small. He's excited to try out his dinosaur bed at Grandma's house. I'm looking forward to spoiling him. Have a good day all.

Good morning Mick and everyone from brightish Carlisle where I am hoping for a sunny gardening day.
I'm off out shortly to collect a storage whim wham I have ordered. Storage is minimally provided in these new houses.

A very Happy Birthday to you Marydoll...long may you go on causing mayhem!
And Happy Birthday to you too creativeness, I think I've not seen you before?
Some of you are getting enjoyable trips out, must organise some myself, getting in a rut here.
And these yummy cakes I keep seeing, a pity some can't be teleported round Gransnet!
Have the best possible day everyone especially you and your DH grandMattie.

Hi and a very Happy Birthday to creativeness! ???

Morning from a lovely sunny Staffs from a lurker. I read your posts most mornings and I feel, like others, I’ve got to know you all a little. I feel for you all “going through the mill” with DH and DDs health problems. I share the joy of those of you enjoying your families and holidays abroad especially my beloved France.
My DH has had a rough time health wise recently having had a sudden and severe UTI beg March. NHS wheels grind exceeding slow, little confidence in medics I’m afraid ? out of the blue he had a letter this week for MRI of his prostate then afterwards-FINALLY-a letter saying MRI had been fixed cos his PSA is high. From day one I kept saying he’s high risk cos his Dad and brother both had prostate cancer but to little avail. Tough times ahead methinks.

Good morning everyone from a very bright and sunny ? Northampton. I should be bright-eyed and bushy tailed,.but I hardly slept last and will not get the chance to catch up. Think I couldn't sleep from excitement, as the.expected phone call from the travel company in the afternoon resulted in me booking a holiday to New Zealand next year! The date I originally requested was fully booked, but I managed to secure the last single place on one departing a week earlier. Can't wait!

Off to watch a womens' rugby match at lunchtime; looking forward to it as.it's always entertaining; shall have to put loads of sunscreen on as I know I shall be facing the sun. Then afterwards a visit to a friend who lives opposite the ground for a coffee.

Happy birthday Marydoll, and also creativeness; hope.you both have a lovely day.

Glad a plan of action is in place for your DH, grandMattie.

May the sun shine on all of us today!

Morning Mick and all

It’s meant to be warm and sunny here today, so DH is going to get the BBQ summer ready, and DD and boys will pop down later for a trial run . No doubt the bouncy castle will be inflated and the cover will come off of the spa pool. I anticipate a busy afternoon.

Happy Birthday to Marydoll and creativeness ????

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Good Morning all from the Scottish Borders. Promising sunshine so far and not so freeeezing as it was yesterday. I am officially poorly and have had to cancel my "engagements" though I will still pick flowers for the cafe tables.
Happy Birthday Marydoll and to Creativeness
enjoy your special days.
momb good luck with that paperwork. I got as far as joining a facebook group for people wanting to help and house refugees but, after reading , decided I wasn't strong enough.

I hope the treatment helps DH grandMattie . It is such a hard time for you all. flowers
Those whose DC are going through treatment I send hugs and prayers.

Away to nurse my cold.

Many Happy Returns ????? to Marydoll and Creativeness, enjoy your special day!
I had a nice catch up with my sisters last night, cheese and wine and putting the world to rights!
Today, some batch cooking for next week, then I must pack for our overnight on Loch Lomondside tomorrow.
Sending love and prayers for those with worries, illness or sorrow. ??
Have the best weekend possible!

Morning all from a beautiful looking West Oxfordshire. Son and his family have gone canoeing this morning. OH is still in bed. I am leaving shortly to do a morning stint at a nearby interesting house - not the one we went to the other day! This afternoon I might pop into some Oxford arts Weeks venues in the area. There are four just in my village. I think my granddaughter will be interested so long as we end up at the playground. Chicken and salad for dinner with a selection of homemade ice creams and the white chocolate and raspberry cake which I make from John Whaite’s recipe. ??? to lots of you.

luluaugust Sat 14-May-22 09:33:56

Good morning from a sunny W Kent, hopefully be able to sit in the garden this afternoon. I had a really good catch up with DD2 yesterday, not easy as she works nearly full time. A garden centre visit this morning.
Happy birthday to Marydoll and Creativeness.
I am so glad treatment is being sorted out GMattie
Good wishes to all

aggie Sat 14-May-22 09:34:44

Good morning everyone from a sunny Co Armagh ,
Happy Birthday ? to Marydoll and to Creativeness ?
Looks like DD and SIL are going to finish putting up the Greenhouse, lots of furrowed foreheads and passing from one to the other of sheafs of instructions taking place , I’m keeping a low profile behind my crochet ? , when things get heated I like to be out of the firing line , seems I am a source of irritation ! ! Moi ? ?

Stilllearning Sat 14-May-22 09:38:31

Morning everyone from S Lanarkshire, grey sky but patches of blue beginning to come through so?
Happy Birthday Marydoll and creativeness. I imagine you’re up to your ears in First Communions by now Marydoll but yesterday and tomorrow sound good!

baubles your vertigo treatment sounded very challenging, what a difficult thing to deal with.

LauraNorderr, I had just been wondering how you were and you popped in! Hope things are well with you.

I am reading your posts with real nostalgia Sar53, we had several happy holidays in that region, doing just what you are.
Lovely memories.

Beautiful cakes Scentia, a talented daughter!

Going out to meet friends for lunch later and looking forward to the blether. I’ll also pick up a nice bottle of wine for my good neighbour who volunteered yesterday to to put together new furniture for my garden room, he and his wife are great neighbours, I am very lucky.

Wishing the best day possible to all and comfort to those who need it ???

dustyangel Sat 14-May-22 09:44:19

Happy Birthday Marydoll, beautiful sunny morning here so I hope you have sunshine whatever you are able to do. ???

Gwenisgreat1 Sat 14-May-22 09:47:45

Good Morning all from bright Harrogate
Happy Birthday Marydoll and creativeness wine [cake] flowers. The only problem with May birthdays, they seem to hurtle round faster than other birthdays? (Speaking from experience).
Glad you have had more explanations about your DHs conditions GrandMattie only hope he is kept comfortable.
Today is a mundane day of washing and baking - unless you know different. Sad to see the cherry blossom disappearing from out tree.
Have the best day you can folks!

aggie Sat 14-May-22 09:48:48

Newquay I hope the MRI results aren’t as bad as they could be xxx
