My thoughts are these, 102 is no time to be taking on a stroppy teen and equally a difficult teen should bear in mind at 102 a parent is not going to feel like being a taxi service, particularly when it's a late night event. On the plus side pocket money shouldn't be a problem.
For Bernie he can look forward to the fact that he may not hear well enough when offspring reaches teen years and their responses are either rude or mono syllabic, in a similar vein he can adjust his hearing aid to phase out loud, monotonous music.
I just looked up a photo of the happy couple, Fabiana is head and shoulders and then some taller, she is 44 and first child - that’s leaving it a bit late, risky too. It’s much more about what she wants, he has been there plenty of times before.
My own opinion, the last thing on earth I would want is a baby and I’m nowhere near 89.
OH drove one of the daughters who had a major meltdown because Daddy had taken the ????? jet and she would have to travel in the ????? jet. A real first world problem. Hopefully she will share nicely with the new arrival.
