One of the things on the Christmas list is Duplo for our grandson.
It's so expensive which company have deals, anyone know.

I've Googled don't seem to be able to find any offers.
Thanks

Oh! We've just sold a huge bag of Duplo as the DGC have outgrown it.
Try eBay. My DD buys and sells outgrown toys on there.

Try ebay, I got mountains of Happyland stuff on there for a pittance. or look out for mad Friday deals.

Just be aware that if you get a big bundle, you may pay a lot in postage, and it may contain a few 'fakes'. Some of these work well, and some don't.

How old is your GC?
40 years ago, we asked GPs for small boxes of Duplo and Brio. They were a bit bothered that the tiny boxes looked 'mean'. We reassured them that a 1 year old would be quite happy and they, also aunts & uncles, could add as he grew. They did.

Those collections are now huge, and 4 children + 2 older grandchildren later are still in use in our house, and being passed on to the newer GCs.

Asda might be worth checking. I bought a Lego set there in early Dec last year which was significantly cheaper than anywhere else I’d seen it.

My GC are fixated on Lego and have collected a mountain of it. Sadly Lego don’t usually have sales but I found Asda sometimes reduce price. Their dad is still a big fan but his mum got rid of all his years ago, more is the pity.
Would say they grew out of Duplo very quickly.

I've just bought Lego for my GD from John Lewis. I've bought Lego from them before and their prices are as good as any, better than most. Prompt delivery, too.

Did someone mention Lego? I said this year if GS (nearly fourteen) put any on his Christmas list I would scream. They must have heard me from here to Lands End!! We have mountains of Duplo in our loft, and Brio. Happy days! Concur John Lewis is competitive. We got Lego there last year at a good price. Otherwise, keep an eye on A****n.

I've just bought some from Argos. It's a really nice train set.

We still have our children’s duplo - they are 40 and I still have my own childhood Lego which is over 60yrs old. As others have said not really many bargains to be had. eBay, Asda, Argos and Amazon. Just don’t buy lookalike.

I’ve bought both lego- millennium Falcon and brio on eBay.
If you restrict your distance you can probably collect.
I met my seller in Waitrose car park.
Small children don’t need new but sometimes the parents can be a bit unhappy. Luckily mine aren’t.

Wow, the millennium falcon. My grandson’s dream.

jeanie99 Try looking at John Lewis they have a really good selection of Duplo from just £8.00 and a good basic tub at £24.99 the prices are about the best around at the minute I bought some for my GGS for his 2nd birthday.

silverlining48 you have to keep looking and at this time of the year even the secondhand prices go up!
