How fascinating. Her voice is extraordinarily mature for such a young child. It needs to be nurtured by a really good and sensitive singing teacher who can make sure that she does not strain her voice too young, and help her to develop her marvellous instrument sympathetically. It needs the media to keep their hands off her and let her voice develop before leaping in and marketing her talent.

She also had a feel for the emotion of the music and put that across in a very mature way.

But - as you would expect me to say - the context of her debut is pretty crass! Let us hope that someone takes her under their wing and helps her to develop - and above all else to enjoy her talent without exploitation.

I agree with Mishap. I think she is risking losing this talent if she goes commercial at her age.
She could easily damage her voice by singing stuff she is not physically ready for.
Just keep her out of the limelight for another 10 yrs and give her proper training. I hope she does not have a "very pushy mother" behind her.

Lets face it though whoever is behind her , and there most certainly is they are chasing the almighty dollar !
