I bought mine in Tesco which isn't on the list and have eaten most of it, so far so good.
But I will warn DIL just in case.

I've never thought of houmous as rubbish!
I know that DD makes her own (and very good it is too).

Houmous is certainly not rubbish Callistemon unlike the DM

Houmous is certainly not a rubbish food Its full of good ingredients and very tasty.

Reminds me of Humus ( earth ) eating soil and its components

Just finished eating my Humous wrap whilst reading this. Fortunately from Tesco which is not on the list!

Easy houmous recipe - -

1x 400g tin of chickpeas, drained
50g tahini paste
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
Juice of 1/2 lemon
60 ml water

Place all ingredients in a food mixer and blend until smooth.

How long would that keep in the fridge?
I notice that sjop-bought houmous always has a short use-by date.
