Anyone have a son/daughter being driven crazy by ex, even with contact order. A Judge really screwed up on holiday access- too much, too soon for child with ASD. Returned to court after final hearing to clarify ridiculous access for summer and she made it worse. Not sure what daughter needs to do. Her Solicitor was bad and it cost a lot. She went alone to last hearing

Sorry to hear that - it's awful isn't it. My son has the world's worst ex partner - luckily she is so lazy that she handed the children over to him completely . He has never gone to court for a judgement, he is just happy to have the children . Doesn't want to rock the boat by going to court.

I just wish I could turn the clock back 13 years and tell him to stay home and not go to the party where they met !

Oh, stella, but then you wouldn't have your darling gc. I admire ds for being ready and willing to step up and take care of his kids.

Summermary, I'm so sorry to hear about the problems dd is facing. I'm not clear, though, on why the access is "too much, too soon for a child with ASD." Does the ex not understand about ASD or how to deal with the child? Or is it just that the changes are too much for an ASD child?

I hate to say it because of the costs, but dd may need to get a different solicitor. Perhaps someone who has successfully handled similar cases? Can you afford to help her cover the costs, if need be? Maybe not, but it might be worth it if you can.
