My daughter is expecting my first grandchild and I want to get excited and am but also feel very worried. She’s about 8 weeks pregnant and I lost three babies due to miscarriage before I had her and her brother. I’m so scared and worried that she will have one too. Is it ok to be this worried or should I just go with the flow, fingers crossed x

It’s understandable to be worried, but you have to keep those worries away from her.

Well you can't help worrying, but as long as you don't say anything to her, just keep your worries to yourself. I do understand, but it is just something we have to go through and hope for the best.

It is understandable that after having miscarriage, there is no going back to thinking pregnancies have little risks and it's all a fairy tale

However, your anxiety is very heightened and I think you should learn the tools to manage it, without letting your daughter know how worried you are

Thank you all for your comments. I’m keeping me worry to myself and will be happier when the twelve week scan is done x ?
