It's raining! Hard! Must be because the window cleaner came yesterday and we spent ages soaking the bone dry flower tubs in the market square last evening!

I do hope it stops by lunch time as I'm a Meet and Greet 1930s maid at NT Blickling Hall this afternoon. I'd looked forward to sitting in the sun!

Yesterday the temperature reached 19 degrees which is summer in this corner of the north east.
Looking after GD this afternoon who has been poorly, will take her the new book I received from GN that should cheer her up.

Ladies coffee morning today and an Age Concern meeting this evening where I represent Gransnet Local.
What to wear is a problem as it's too warm for mac and boots.

Thank goodness we have had some rain. Have taken the DGC to school and have already trodden on one snail.
What I should do today-
My income tax return
Tidy up spare room.
Clear out some stuff.
Go to allotment and take big sheets of cardboard and put down organic slug pellets.
Process the washing.
Feel better just having written it down. But I might just load the dishwasher and watch tv with a cup of coffee.

We have a lovely sunny morning in the Tyne Valley. All the rain seems to be south of us.? DH wants to go out to the coast today, we hope to be off in three quarters of an hour. It might be wise to go west, but I think he wants to go to Craster and Seahouses. I love that area and would go even if it was pouring down with rain.
