It's sunny and breezy at the moment, with some light cloud about. Feels a bit chilly.
Hope all goes well today for your son, Imp, and I'm glad you got to the WI Nana3 and enjoyed it. Good to hear that your Mum seemed a bit brighter yesterday.
To all of you with troublesome knees and backs, I hope that today gives you some relief.

Good. Morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is out - and then it's in - can't make its mind up. At least it's dry. We both have eye tests today. Other than that, nothing more on the cards.

So glad to hear Nana you went to your WI I am going to mine today. I find the good friends I have made there have helped me through a tricky family problem. I'm glad your Mum managed to speak to you.

Kitty have you tried Deep Heat or similar on your knees? I have one dodgy knee.

It's bright and breezy here in Norfolk.

A bit of a lie in this morning. We started sorting out the reed growth in our little pond yesterday so will continue with that today having got all the weed out and left it draining on the bank for the inhabitants to return to the water. Lots of frogs!

Good morning all!

Sun beginning to peek through here in North Kent.

First day 'off' are 8 days of training and shadowing. Weird day ahead - driving to ex H's, then travelling with him to hospital to see DS1's consultant.

Good news is that DS1 (who has mental health problems) is a lot calmer and today should be the day when we begin to learn what the 'grand plan' is in terms of supporting him to get well and stay well. Almost afraid to hope that there really will be some positive news!

It's promising to be a nice day here on the south coast but with a cool wind. We are chopping logs this morning and getting a stack outside the kitchen door ready for replenishing the log basket when we start with the log burner. I love lighting it - must be a throw-back to my cave dwelling ancestors!

Good morning*Mick*, Kitty and Nana it's pitch black here in Portugal, but it's to be slightly cooler than yesterday. It was too hot for me.
DH and son off to play golf, so I will spend the day with DH and DIL.
At the moment I'm taking advantage of time alone, I never get that opportunity.
Nana, I'm glad you got to your WI meeting yesterday, you need some TLC. It's so difficult and watching our parents deteriorate.

Good morning, still fairly dark and cloudy in Lancashire. Thank you for your messages yesterday, Mum was comfortable and spoke to me. I went to the WI meeting and enjoyed it.

It's still darkish in North Leicestershire but there are some extra dark clouds rolling around.

There is no rain in the forecast but I would be quite pleased if it does rain as I'm supposed to be gardening and my knees haven't recovered from the weekend yet.
