Dry and cool here. Not long back from gym, now I have the decorating of spare bedroom to get on with.

Popped into Tesco on way back, as the Christmas Chocolate tubs are now 2 for £7. Just have to lock them away, as there is a danger they could be all eaten before the big day

Good morning, it is calm and mild here in the north east. Slept in this morning after another disturbed night and woke to find DH had already left.
My sister is flying back to her home abroad, hope all is well as it is one of the cities that has had flooding at the weekend.

Finishing some decorating, helping a neighbour and general admin today. Sluggish start after a difficult night, will be fine once I get going. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.

Wet and miserable here again.
The plumber didn't turn up yesterday, after waiting in all day. He is supposed to come between 8.30 and 9am this morning. I'm not holding my breath.
Nfk, I hope your husband gets on ok today and that you get him home tonight.

Morning all from a still morning here in Staffs. Sky looks lovely. Awake earlier than usual as this morning a young woman is coming to do a first clean for us-kitchen, cloakroom, hall and bathroom. It's a trial clean so hope we're satisfied. She pushed a leaflet advertising her services through the door so not on recommendation. She showed me a ref on her phone from pub where she works both cleaning bar area and private accommodation. We will always be here when she comes. . . . . Hope it works out

And a lovely autumn morning it is too in Norfolk although we do have a bit of high cloud.

I have a keypad on my nice new iPad (my birthday isn’t for another two weeks but we were in the right place) and can tap away at speed using ALL my fingers! DH is having a liver biopsy this afternoon, mid afternoon so it’s touch and go that he may have to stay in overnight. Fingers crossed.

Cool but not cold, and dry with a clear sky. Dog has finally got onto 'new time' and as she call tell the time to the minute I'm sure, it's a relief not to have those mournful looks around her old meal time.

Blue sky and not a breath of wind here in Kent bit of a nip though. Would have the heating on but discovered eary yesterday the boiler is broken. Can't get it fixed until tomorrow
