Good Morning Friday

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still very dark in South Yorkshire this morning, but dry at least. Things are a bit up in the air at the moment - we thought GS was spending part of the day with us today, but so far no-one has let us know whether he is or not, so we are currently in limbo. I have been up since silly o’clock, so will have to have matchsticks to keep my eyelids open soon.

It's my birthday today (69!!!) so we are going out for lunch.

Morning Mick Gd and Kitty - and Happy Birthday too Kitty!

It is mild and damp and dark here on the south coast and we are still recovering from the lurgy. DH had a relapse yesterday and STILL hasn't managed a ride on his new Christmas bike.

I have to go to the library and pick up my repeat prescriptions this morning but little else planned. Think DD might call to see her Dad as it's so unusual for him to be out of action.

We are off to Warners for a long weekend so I won't be here until Tuesday.

I had to go down and turn the heating down, so it must be milder than yesterday!
We have DGD unexpectedly this morning, as her mum isn't feeling too well.
We will do some baking and then get the industrial cleaners in afterwards to clear up the mess. . It will be worth it, as she loves baking.

Hopefully a less stressful day today after waiting yesterday to hear of the birth of my fifth granddaughter . She was born at 15.39 yesterday afternoon. Her elder sister is besotted says my daughter. Hoping they will be home today and I can go and have cuddles tomorrow.

I received my activation code yesterday so I can apply for the State Pension online - yippeeee! Starts 6th March...only 64 1/2 years after my 60th birthday!
