Hello Mick and everyone,
it's grey but now the mist has cleared, here in Nottingham. I did some errands at 8 o'clock, and since then have done the washing, ironing and hoovering. Not much this afternoon, just reading and cooking tonight's dinner. Long day at work tomorrow.

Good morning.
A mostly grey morning, with short bursts of sunshine. Quite muggy, but not supposed to rain until tomorrow. I'm not too sure it will wait that long!
Well done mick.
Hope you all have a good day, whatever you plan.

Good morning. Rather misty this morning in Dorset.
On our way to Beer to ‘Pecorama ‘ to see the trains with both DGSs. Should be a fun day.

Good morning from Lancashire. I heard some rain in the night and the sky is grey.
Teenage Dgd has asked me to take her to ikea today as she's never been, I shall stay in the moment and enjoy every minute of being with her. Thought we were going hill walking though.
Keep up the good work Mick.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all x

Good morning from a grey skied Colchester. The early mist has lifted and it's already warm. Another muggy day.
No plans...playing it by ear today!

Greyduster Thu 31-May-18 08:17:54

Good morning, Michael, and all GNs. Have a good day at the Black Country Museum Mick - supposed to be very good. Dry but grey here in South Yorkshire but my little ray of sunshine is awake and drinking his milk (no, not DH! He’s the grumpy drawers with the coffee). We will go swimming this morning and then we are going out to buy a “proper” cricket bat. Have a good day, folks.

Gagagran Thu 31-May-18 08:04:20

Morning all!

Just back from the supermarket trip on a muggy, dull morning here on the south coast with storms promised from 11am, We often seem to miss the forecast weather so may be lucky again.

I can recommend the fish and chips at the Black Country Living Museum Mick but it's best to be waiting for the chippie to open at 12 noon as mega queues form quickly once they are open.

Wishing all GNs a good day sunshine

Marydoll Thu 31-May-18 07:53:24

Good morning all. It's dull and cool in Glasgow after a glorious day yesterday.
I hope you enjoy your trip Mick
Maw, I hope your headache goes away, and I hope you are still improving, Nfk, enjoy the cake!

I have a routine mammogram this morning sad and then popping in to see DGD. We haven't seen her all week, due to mum and dad being off.
Have a good day everyone.

It is dry here at the moment but rain with thunder storms forcast for later on.Really hope not as due to play a bowls match this afternoon, not much fun in the wet. Off to do my Morrison's shop shortly. Have a great day everyone and enjoy your trip to the Museum Mick.I had a coach trip to Kew Gardens yesterday and it was lovely.

Morning All. Much brighter start in our corner of Somerset, storms forecast later, lucky us. Grandma duties today, hope no sickness with ours, don’t envy you the car clean kitty. As you say, be sensible maw, hope the head clears quickly. Your day sounds promising mick, good health news too. Best get a wriggle on, invasion soon.

ninathenana Thu 31-May-18 07:21:03

Morning all.

Not sure if we have a thick mist or even fog here on Kent coast. What is the difference confused
It's very warm, with storms forecast.
Shopping today rather than tomorrow as we are helping DD paint the flat tomorrow ready to move in on Monday.
Have a good day everyone.

NanKate Thu 31-May-18 07:03:56

Poor you cleaning out the car, and your DGD Kitty

NanKate Thu 31-May-18 07:01:28

Morning Mick Kitty and All.

Should be warm and cloudy today with maybe some thunder and lightning ⚡️⚡️

Well done Mick with your weight.

We have twice visited the Black Country Museum and found it a fascinating place to wander round, especially if you have a trip on the Dudley Canal boat which is within the same site. The tram trip really took me back in time. It is also where they filmed some of the Peaky Blinders series. Have fun.

Back home today after 6 days with the family.

kittylester Thu 31-May-18 06:53:49

Hope the headache clears up Maw - there's a bug going round here which is a headache followed by vomiting - dgd had it in my car yesterday shock

kittylester Thu 31-May-18 06:51:22

Morning all from a slightly misty North Leicestershire.

We have promised ourselves a trip to the Black Country Museum. Mick, it's years since we last went so I'd be interested in your report!

Hairdresser for me - that will be a relief and a Sainsbury's shop this afternoon.

MawBroon Thu 31-May-18 06:42:55

Good morning Mick, Nfkdumpling and those to come.
It’s very misty and still here this morning.
I have woken up with a headache because I foolishly slept with all the windows closed (and locked!) having heard of a burglary in the village yesterday round the corner from us, about 6 houses away.☹️
Not something we are prone to here, but when they do happen there are usually a few. Chancers I think.
Just got to be sensible I suppose
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

NfkDumpling Thu 31-May-18 06:38:22

Morning Mick, morning All

I’m glad your nurse visit was good, it’s encouraging and makes keeping weight down worth while. The Black Country Museum sounds like a good trip.

Its quite misty and still here in Norfolk but not to bad temperature wise and I think the sun will ‘burn through’.

SiL said she’ll visit today bearing a lemon cake. She’s an excellent cook so I fear my weight regime may suffer!

12Michael Thu 31-May-18 06:31:09

Good Morning Everyone,
Weatherwise dry but grey and muggy here in Brackley , coach trip today to Black Country Museum at Dudley , also nurse visit at surgery was good, keeping weight down is a bonus.
Mick
