If so, does it fruit and is it tricky?
I'm considering buying one for my daughter. She has space and expressed an interest in them but obviously I won't go ahead if they are trouble!

We have a pomegranate that sits in a tub at the bottom of our front steps. We do little to it except water it occasionally and it flowers and produces small fruit (not edible) every year. It is much admired and wondered over.

Ooh. Thank you Humbert.
I know the edible sorts from Mediterranean gardens/holiday villas fruit but the one grown by our family friend (who had one in the North West) maybe was like yours with inedible fruits... I don’t remember it fruiting but do remember the blossoms quite clearly.
Do you happen to know the variety please?
