Has anybody used this, and could tell me how it went? I’m loath to enquire from them directly, as I don’t want to be polluted with calls & emails!
I worked with Scottish Power for a while, and it seemed to me that changing suppliers could cause lots of problems. Maybe they’ve got their act together now.

I hadn’t heard of this so I looked it up. It wouldn’t suit me as I wouldn’t be in control and anyway wouldn’t trust a commercial organisation. I’m always on an annual tariff and around renewal time I just go onto several suppliers and get a quote very quickly. It helps to have your annual, consumption figures to use. In addition, I also take quality of customer service - not just price - into account . I know some use the comparison web sites but I’ve not found them that reliable)
There have been some problems recently with cheaper suppliers who’ve gone under and customers have had to wait months to get money overpaid back.

Sorry meant to add that changing has vastly improved now - although I always photograph the meters on changeover day.

I use this firm and the changeovers have been very slick. I can opt out or choose a different supplier if I’m not happy with the deal they source for me.
I was always pretty good at changing suppliers but the last few times I had let things slide and ended up on the highest tariff for a few months due to my lethargy. That was why I changed to ‘Look After My Bills’

That’s interesting Car thanks. Does your contract remain with the supplier?

It says it is Ofgem accredited, but given its name, it only seems to deal with fuel bills. I would expect it to deal with all household bills.

Yes your contract remains with your supplier.
