Hi
I was wondering if anybody had tried the Mona lisa touch procedure and if so how did it work for you? I have tried Vagifem and ovestin and although it improves vaginal atrophy the burning is worse than sunstroke. I use Yes as well but nothing seems to help at the moment which is annoying as I have used Vagifem for the last 18 months with few problems.

What exactly is it Marie28?
I fortunately have no need of it but often have people who are not on HRT “consult” me on menopausal problems.

Vaginal atrophy is one of a huge number of post menopausal problems that you never hear about until you experience them. If we were better informed most of us would be on HRT to prevent them happening to us.
I’m thinking especially of osteoporosis, incontinence, vaginal atrophy, loss of libido, memory changes, sleep disturbances, Alzheimer’s, and heart disease.

Laser therapy, I had to Google it.

I m afraid I wouldn’t go on HRT if it was given me on a silver plate
I can’t help either Marie as I ve never heard of it only in the art gallery Is there any more natural help you can get have you looked at that line of query

Mona Lisa touch is available privately through Benenden Healthcare. I believe it's a laser treatment. Not sure how effective it is. It's quite expensive.

Ooooh. Laser treatment for the vaginal walls!
Crikey!
Personally I find that with HRT my vaginal walls are just fine.

Ladies check out Lichen Sclerosis. For menopause problems
It affects lots of woman who are never diagnosed properly.
Ask Doc. for referral and biopsy. More women need to come forward. Mona Lisa touch has had very good reviews. ?
