simtib Yes! That caused the bridge to have those early movement problems.
It makes you wonder why the architects did not think about that possibility. Men marching in step across across bridges has long been known to cause problems.

Arups were the engineers that were supposed to make sure the bridge worked, Nellie.
Fosters were the architects who did the initial design but engineers work out the structure. So I'm sorry but you cannot blame the architects for the bridge.
