These spammers work on the principle that it is worth the small effort for the return they get when a few innocent minnows rise to the bait. He didn't count on the wily old carp on Gransnet.

(I'm not calling you a predatory and ugly fish, Bagitha, it was a general compliment to the wisdom of posters on here)

The carp live on in the underwater jungle. The minnows get eaten (often by the carp)
