How I feel for you - there are so many variations in size depending upon the brand! Sorry I can't help with where do you shop as it is all so random.
It sounds like you could do with encouragement with your weight loss struggle? Be assured you are not alone

the problem is that even within any size, all of us are different shapes. Some have wide backs, others are big busted, arm length varies, body length varies.

The only way to find out where you can get skirts to fit your shape is to just go out and around the shops and see what brands fit.

Think I'll wait a bit, see if I can loose more weight first.I hate shopping and don't enjoy fashion, I just try to buy what fits and looks half decent

I'm the same Katyj, I hate trailing round shops trying on clothes, it's exhausting and dispiriting
