I have curly hair which looks thicker than it really is. Feel like it’s starting to get thinner now I’ve gone greyer. Do you think thickening shampoos or treatments work? Any recommendations?

Some people think that caffeine shampoos help...Plantur39 or Alpecin. I'm not entirely convinced but since I've got thinning hair I'll try anything!

Just been trying to find the one I like when I can get into a Superdrug but sorry, I can’t. It’s in a square white bottle. I found this really good on my fine and thin hair. I tried a caffeine one but it just made my hair flyaway!!

John Frieda’s volume thickening shampoo and conditioner is pretty good and does make my hair look thicker.

Papermonster Is the shampoo you are thinking of called Roots?
If so, the spray on serum is very good.

I think the Plantur is good but have gone back to my Pantene 3 in 1 because it gives such a good shine and feels lovely.

Papermonster I love the image of your hair high as a kite on a caffeine overdose ?

I'm currently using L'Oréal Elvive Fibrology Thickening Shampoo, in a blue bottle, which I like.

Thanks for the tips. Boots had the Roots products on offer so have got them to try.

The lush soap shampoo for fine hair works for me and lasts a long time, need very little

I used the John Frieda for several months but had to stop as I started to get a sore, itchy head.
