Which mobile?

Really pleased you were able to glean something from my mutterings Demdyke.

I thinks possibly its good idea you are leaning towards the Samsung Galaxy 111. A couple of my friend have them and would not swap for the world....loads of stuff they dont need, but its there if wanted....I'm not too sure about the satnav on the Galaxy tho'.
Interesting to note, that both these people had been Nokia addicts for many years, but now would not go back!

I am not expert on these things, (in fact most of the time I 'aint a clue what I'm talking about!) But, when I was trying to sell my Lumina, the various places I tried all said the same thing, "this phone has not proved to be what Nokia hoped - way ahead of its time".....I will let you take what you will from that - as i did!

Just re-read my previous and it sound is if I dont have a camera on my Sony! A decent camera is at the top of my requirements for my mobile, so yes, I do have one, quite a good one, but no where near as outstanding as the Lumina.

Hey out2grass you HAVE been of help!! I have been checking through Lumia 625 again and i too feel it is going to be far to techy for me. I don't use my mobile much at present as I am not working but hope to do so soon, when I will need it a lot. For now I too use it for texts and also photos, plus hope to use the satnav aspect. Think I will try a Samsung Galaxy III - can't afford IV.

I think it all depends on what you want a mobile phone for! I really only need one for emergency calls and dozens of texts outbound! Not really sure why I went for the Lunina in the first place! If I remeber rightly there was this really gorgeous sales guy in CW...........(a place whose doors I had sworn never to go through again some three years earlier).....This time - I mean it!!

The Lumina 625 was way too high tec for me, so I only had it a few months then changed to a Sony, & no, it was not from CW!!

The one thing I will say about the Lumina is that the pictures were absolutely first class. Could stand up against any really pricey Digital camera......That camera is certainly a miss on my Sony.

In have had Nokia's for as long as I can remember, but, over the past few years they are no where near as user friendly as they always were, well, for me anyway.

I have an iPhone 5s and love it!! In fact, I've had iPhones from the very start and would swap to anything else.

Though my desktop runs Windows and I use that successfully, I tried a Nokia (they also use this operating system). I hated it and sent it back.

All my phones have been Nokia ones, but the last two just haven't been fit for purpose so I am reluctantly going to change brands. My most recent phone was bought about a month ago and I'm already having major problems. For instance, it doesn't work well when it's too hot or too cold!

I have the Nokia Lumia 610 which is okay but you need to put it on its side to write texts or fat finger syndrome comes into play. Also you cannot increase the size of the print on the screen which makes it difficult to read.

I usually use Carphone W but am hoping to get a free tablet with the phone.

Watch out for car phone ** . They do deals, usually advertised in the press, but only for a short time, usually a week. I got a great deal on an iPhone. X
