Just watched this. She loved him as much as I did! Interesting to hear that she got her quick asides to the camera from him. Really good programme. smile

I thought it was excellent too, I hadn't realised he was only 58 when he died, I'd thought he was much older for some reason. I do like Amanda Hart she seems a very genuine person not at all showbizzy.

I know! Brilliant - bring me sunshine is my favourite song of all time - I think I know all the words - is that a bit sad?

I Loved Eric Morecambe - his humour reminded me so much of my father's who too died aged 58 the year after Eric. I often imagine them sharing a tot of whiskey!

A good friend of ours, an artist, was also a friend of Eric, his widow (the friend) told us that when they used to visit Eric and Gordon used to sit in the garden with their binoculars and a drink discussing their various illnesses, bit like me and my friends! Third age of conversation apparently

It was a very good programme, I tend to tune into anything about Morecambe and Wise though, but acknowledge that Eric was the real funny one of the two. It doesn`t seem so long since he died. His son Gary is the spitting image of him.
