Can anyone recommend a good film for Easter?

Saving Mr Banks is a great film.

I watched a film on Sky this week - Wild Oats. I stumbled on it and when I saw that Shirley Maclaine, Jessica Lange and Billy Connolly were the stars in it, I pulled up a chair and settled in for the afternoon . It was very entertaining. Light but entertaining.

Well, it's not recent but I wonder if they might enjoy The King's Speech because they may remember George VI's first speech as King. You can get it on DVD or perhaps Netflix if you have that.

Also Up is a lovely film. I am not usually keen on animations but this is so sweet and heart rending.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is possibly a good bet. Warm and funny with great acting from Dame Maggie Smith, Judi Dench and Bill Nighy.

Nostalgia wise I liked Grace of Monaco although it was panned by the critics. Your parents would definitely be familiar with the era.

Since we bought an Amazon fire stick and downloaded Netflix, Saturday night has become movie night chez merlot
