I watched this last night not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did.

Anyone else see it

I think it was daft and pointless.

Sorry.

I saw a trailer, but can't stand Scarlett Moffett, so didn't bother to watch it.

I enjoyed it too GrannyGravy, more than I expected.

Another programme using a backdrop of a life of hardship in Africa to air self-doubt and insecurities.

Who's next I wonder?

We watched it and thought it was very good. She was interviewed yesterday on something and said it has made her rethink the values she has on our society today.

I did wonder at the waste of water in the house when the villagers were having to go to such lengths just to find water for themselves and their livestock though.

I think the happiness and self worth of the tribes women shone through.

It was the African women who felt sorry for The Moffat family.

I read about it but don't agree with programmes like this so I won't be watching it.

I watched it for just 10mins then switched it off, the money they spent putting up that house would have serviced the village with a constant supply of fresh water for many years to come.

I heard that they did leave a bore hole for the tribe. I don't know how useful it would be as they are nomads.
I enjoyed the programme although it was a bit superficial.
