The Book of Bedtime Stories

bedtimestories

Our October joint effort is an illustrated treasury of bedtime stories, chosen by former Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen.

"Lovely", you say? Well, it gets so much better. Because the soon-to-be family classics nestled in this beautiful jacket were all written by none other than our super-talented gransnetters and mumsnetters!

Chosen (by Mr. Rosen himself) out of more than 400 entries to our children’s story competition launched by Walker Books, each one is accompanied by beautiful illustrations from up-and-coming artists.

These tales are all written by parents and grandparents who know exactly what makes a brilliant bedtime read, and are perfect for narrating aloud. Here's a taster of what's in store, and yes, you will be able to utilise your well-practised range of animal voices...

Unfortunately all the free copies have gone, however, (because all this GN pride is making us feel extra generous) we're also going to be giving away five beautiful prints from the book to those who post their review on this thread.
