Gransnet user survey 2018 prizes

Fill out the 2018 Gransnet User survey and you will be entered into a prize draw to win one of 5 vouchers: 

• One £200 voucher of winners choice (from a list).  
• Two £100 vouchers of winners choice (from a list). 
• Two £50 vouchers of winners choice (from a list). 

 Vouchers to choose from include John Lewis, Amazon, M&S, Debenhams, Argos and B&Q, among others. 

How will we use your data?

Your contact details will be collected solely for the purpose of being entered into the prize draws for the Gransnet user survey.

The email addresses of all non-winning entrants will be deleted once the winners have accepted the prizes - this will likely be straight away and within a maximum of three months of the survey closing. 

We will use your responses to produce data in aggregate (e.g. "10% of users live in London" or "40% of users have a pet"). 

We will only share data in aggregate. No individual details will be passed on to any third parties.

We ask for postcode to help see where people live in the country and also to run the list of postcodes against a social segmentation tool to see how you compare to the national average. 

Prize draw terms and conditions

To enter the prize draw, you must be:

a) 18 years old or over at the time of entry.

b) A UK resident

c) A registered member of Gransnet 

• The user survey prize draw is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of Gransnet or Mumsnet or anyone promoting the prizes.
• You can find out who has won the prizes by looking at our Won Anything? thread in the Competitions forum topic.
• All entries must be made by completing the GN census. Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified and no responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.
• The winners will be chosen at random from all those entrants who have completed the survey and added their details at the end. You can only enter once.
• Your personal details will be collected via encrypted data solely for the purposes of this prize draw and unless they have given us permission to hold onto and use them, the details of all non-winning entrants will be deleted once the winner/s have accepted their prize.

If you win:

• We will notify you by e-mail.
• If we do not get a response to the email within 14 days or if the winner is unable to accept the prize, the prize will be offered to a runner up selected at random. 
• If the runner up does not respond to the email within 14 days or is unable to accept the prize, the prize will be offered to another runner up.
• The prizes are not exchangeable for cash or any other prize. If, for any reason, an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
• Our decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Your details - with your permission - will be shared with a voucher fulfilment company to dispatch the vouchers, and we will keep a record of the winner's name, email address and address for accounting purposes.
