Gransnet children's book writing competition - the winner and shortlist
STOP THE PRESS as we have some very exciting news...
We ran a nationwide competition with independent publisher Bobaloo Books in search for new writing talent. After reading all the lovely entries we received, we're ready to announce the winner!

Who were the judges?
The judging panel, led by Bobaloo's Publisher, Janet Kelly, included Cari Rosen and Lara Crisp, Gransnet Editors.
What is the prize?
The winner will receive a publishing contract from Bobaloo Books, and their book will be published in spring 2017. They will receive advice on how to build their profile as a writer, as well as the editing, design, illustration, print, sales, marketing and distribution from Bobaloo Books. 10 runners up will be given signed copies of Doris Morris by Janet Kelly and feedback on their entries, with guidance on how to progress in their writing career.
