Australians are wonderful!

This brought tears to my eyes; solidarity in the face of adversity.

I think I should have made the heading different (it looks a bit odd in the 'active threads'.

How humbling, and truly in the spirit of peace on earth and goodwill to all men.

Posted this on Sydney siege thread earlier this morning. A family friend who lives just outside Sydney flagged it up on her facebook page. She is currently visiting Scotland with her boys but knows the district well and was concerned about friends (who are all safe).
Could we look for such a response to a similar situation?
