Hi, I am a newbie too, I am eighty and never used a computer until my son bought me an iPad for my eightieth birthday and I just love it, I'm a gran and G. Gran too, you all seem like a friendly bunch and I look forward to joining in.

Sheilagh welcome! It can be addictive some of us are more addicted than others. Lots of laughs and support. Sometimes gets heated usually politics and social welfare topics steer clear if you don't enjoy such debates.

I already have a question: do you recommend joining Facebook ? Seems ds and ddil communicate via this media. I don't want to miss out but have reservation being part of a so-called friends group.
