Actually ana I was totally clueless ( I know, no change there) just "support". Thanks anyway for those who did!

I'm a moderator on forums for work. I would always automatically report spam (as I did recently). For anything else, we pretty much follow what Julie describes, including endless discussion in the team before a decision is made to delete.

I have to admit I was shocked.

Very annoying though not to be able to make your own mind up if offence was caused, after all it does vary between posters it would appear.
