Yes he was Anya. DD was furious when GD came home and explained she deserved being punched because she (because the deputy Head said so) interfered (stood up for her friend). What sort of message does that give a young girl? My SIL said the deputy ended up apologising to GD, after SIL took time off work and spoke to him the very next day.

I did read the first few chapters too Ginny but gave up. I'm not a fan of anything that portrays women as victims.
