A couple of points.
Meat isn't good for you, and the knock on effects to Planet Earth from cows / methane is well publicised.
Don't presume to know what Princess Diana would think of either Meghan or Kate.
Don't buy into the Daily Mail rubbish, it's the scandals that keeps them in business and they are going to want to keep their readership up.
Of course opinions posted here are your own but ladies let's be kind, please! No-one knows what goes on in a marriage. And maybe it's the bride calling the shots, it's not for you to object!

To me this couple are like any of the others in Hello magazine - famous for being famous - of no more interest than that.

This is actually her third, yes third marriage. They are both over 30 years of age and should be old and mature enough to cope with a few changes.

Must admit I've not seen racism on Gransnet politics threads although I've not read them all.

In fact it's the only social site I've been on which appears to be able to discuss politics without racism, threats or deliberate insults, which is quite unique according to my experience.

Your last sentence. In some people's eyes, those prior relationships will be sufficient for them to decide she's not fit to be Harry's wife.

The fact that Harry himself has had on-off long term relationships (not to mention some short term ones probably) will simply be overlooked.

I've never read so much nonsense on here ,they didn't do the house up while working a 40 or 50 hour week ..(working ..not holidaying and being paid for it) neither did they have to load vans and move home as most folk do and I'm quite sure neither of them are so desperate for a break that spending more than the average YEARLY wage on 3 nights is justifiable .Private citizens can do what they want with thier own hard earned cash..as any they have will have filtered down in some way from the taxpayer .Its not on !
