I’m sure there’s more opinions to share on this topic.

Annie Love it!

Are you quite well? This sort of vicious obsession with people you’ve never even met is not healthy.

Anniebach Sat 04-Apr-20 11:52:06

Quite well thank you, I do ask the same question of those who
criticise this thread but read it.

newnanny Sat 04-Apr-20 12:09:08

Your comment made me chuckle Annie. grin I have return the favour. I have read Meghan wants to return to acting but will only consider working with A listers.

But the interest on here was always high because the age demographic are more interested in the RF, plus many have a lot of free time due to retirement.

Well if you think this is true you obviously haven’t been on Mumsnet. Presumably the demographic over there is younger on average with far fewer retired posters. There are thousands, literally thousands of posts about M&H. I think they’re on something like their nineteenth main thread, the other eighteen being full as having reached one thousand posts. Add to this the multitude of shorter threads and the total number is colossal. So no, it certainly isn’t just older people who are fuelling the continued interest.

Surely One has to read a thread in order to agree , disagree or be non commital.

Anniebach Sat 04-Apr-20 15:22:51

newnanny. She is definitely in the running for an Oscar if only for her visit to S.A. and the tv interview she gave there.

maddyone Sat 04-Apr-20 15:31:57

Yes, that was an Oscar winning performance for sure.

Namsnanny Sun 05-Apr-20 02:32:14

Possibly Bridgeit, but for me I can usually gauge all I need to know from the title of the thread to tell if its for me. Sometimes followed up with a brief skip over the first few posts.
Even then there is no compulsion to post necessarily.
Posting points, even tentatively towards needing to voice an opinion.
In which case there must be some level of interest there.

Anniebach … 20.09 grin

Bridgeit Sun 05-Apr-20 11:16:01

Exactly Namsnanny, that goes without saying, in this respect we are all the same.

Anniebach Sun 05-Apr-20 11:19:30

The difference - posters who post their opinions on the topic of the thread - posters who post their opinions on posters

Bridgeit Sun 05-Apr-20 11:25:31

Of which we all do both.
Ie. A comment on the topic
A comment on an another person’s personal opinion.

GagaJo Sun 05-Apr-20 11:39:34

It's a soap opera for the chattering classes.

Anniebach Sun 05-Apr-20 11:48:33

No Bridgeit, you know very well what I mean, disagreeing with
a post is not the same as mocking posters.

Bridgeit Sun 05-Apr-20 11:59:58

But Annie we could go on & on , one persons mocking, could be the normal trait of another.
This is the difficulty of communication without visual clues:
Ie when we converse face to face, we can read expressions, hear tone of voice etc.
?So this is my friendly , not being obtuse face to match my comments.
