My DH we’re having a drink this evening in a hotel garden. Whilst there, we saw 2 young woman customers (probably about 35 ish) greeting each other with a very enthusiastic hug and kiss on the cheek. I was flabbergasted! Does anyone think me overly-cautious in feeling that this is not a good idea at the moment when we’re trying to socially distance?

For the eighth week in a row UK deaths are below the five year average.

You know your families and how they behave/who they mix with. Only you can decide to cuddle or not.

I've never really been a keen hugger so I'm actually quite happy to keep my distance. I haven't seen any close family (apart form DH) recently so not sure what would happen then. The grandsons are at the age where you would almost have to pay for a hug anyway!grin

Hear hear, Puzzled. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Fear won't stop us dying, but it sure as hell stops us living.
