Sooooo AIBU my neighbour is living there as woman and children on benefits and suddenly after 4 years Daddy moves in but she calls him her brother.
He owns a Care business. HMRC are chasing him over unsubmitted tax etc over the last 4 years at his ‘address’ (not this one) and his car tax ran out 1st December 2024 and his MOT ran out on 1st April 2025 both are still out of date.

He’s using the car every day and has parked it in her parking bay which means she parks in front of my actual garden gate, meaning I can’t get past in my wheelchair.
They have all but taken over!
He dashes in and out of the car, looking pretty guilty,as I say she calls him her brother, the kids 7and17 call him Dad! Before he moved in he visited just two or three times over the 5years. They are from Zimbabwe in a council house paying nothing and she bragged about this.He had a succession of partners at his company’s address. His clothes are in-the back of his car and he often has the lights on with music and drinking in there until early morning. This is outside my window.
It annoys me and it’s wrong……and it’s dangerous ! I have checked my evidence
What would any of you do ?

Did you leave your last home because if neighbourhood problems, or is this the same home?

Well i have read the replies thank you, I just can’t go on anymore. It’s been awful today and I just feel like giving up on everything. Life just isn’t worth living.

I would report the lot of them, including the daughter threatening you! Do it today, why should you live in fear of awful neighbours!

It’s common, being from overseas makes no difference, plenty of UK drivers do this, if you’re a single parent with kids and you get caught you will get fined, you pay by installments but forget to pay. The worst they can do is crush the car, they are never going to jail you for not insuring a car.

So they get away with it

No, they don't get away with it.

We reported a car (a Rolls Royce would you believe) left for months in our lane with no tax. It was towed away. The truck driver told us that they only get it back when they've paid.

Even if it's just the inconvenience of having to pay to get it back and tax it then it's not getting away scot free.

It sounds as though this is making your really miserable Mincub. Troublesome neighbours can really drain the joy from living in your home. Do you have anyone you can share the problem with? A friend or family member perhaps?

Are you still in the same bungalow from your previous post in 2021 where you had similar issues?

It does sound like the same place from the description of the neighbours in the July 2021 post.

OP- what do other people on the street think? You can't be in isolation here? You didn't answer this question...

You need to get this in perspective, the only real problem is him blocking you gate, go and tell them the problems is causes you and ask them to not park there.

The rest does not affect you, you need to stop thinking about all the other stuff. It sounds like you have spent too much time investigating them for no purpose.

Then do something Mincub. Talk to your councillor, the police, Age UK, Ctizen's Advice, if you are a church-goer, your minister or church elders.

Nothing is going to change unless you actually take action to stop it.

But you were saying this on here 4 years ago Mincub

The police catch over 50,000 drivers each year with no insurance and fine them £300 fixed penalty, to put that into perspective there are around 1 million cars in the UK uninsured, so around 5% are caught each year, that’s pretty good odds of not getting caught.

Add to that cost of insurance, £300 is pretty low for car insurance, many new or young drivers pay much more so many with low income don’t insure. The DVLA could check up and enforce the law but they choose not to, now there are no tax discs number plates have to be checked so car tax and MOT are neglected too.

Report them to HMRC. It is your duty to report tax fraud. You are a responsible citizen. Ignore people who say it's not your business. We are all responsible for paying taxes and reporting fraud.

I'm with Ziggy! Move if you are in a position to do that. Your neighbours are a nightmare and you have been threatened by the daughter. I am not surprised you are frightened!!
Its an instinctive reaction is to want yo report them , however these neighbours
are a threat to you and
you must look after yourself. They could cause you enormous physical and emotional stress!!! I know you should not have to move- its not fair but ............?
Sorry you are in this dreadful situation. 💐💐
