🤣🤣 My washing machine plays a little tune when it has finished!

Life is now full of b****y beeps. It drives me mad too. DHs phone is always making noises with notifications etc. It seems to happen at meal times on a regular basis. Alexa (I loathe) turns itself on and starts playing music! I could go on ……and on….. etc.

We have a Honda Jazz that is neurotic!

Oh yes. Sometimes when I'm in the kitchen there's so many bleeps and dings going off I don't know if I should be answering my phone or the door, opening the microwave, switching off the air fryer, getting the washing out.... I often look at my phone for a new message when I should have been shaking the air fryer

Whenever we are out somewhere and we hear a bleep or a tune my DH reaches for his phone. I tell him his phone doesn’t even make that noise! Are any of us any happier in this world of technology? I don’t think so.

It's actually very useful if I'm upstairs!

It drives me nuts when I visit my daughter- all her appliances bleep and they just ignore them! What is the point...?

You’re lucky! Mine sits there and ‘beeps’ at me until I deal with it. If I can’t get to it immediately, the beeps get louder and more aggressive! I know I shouldn’t, and it’s childish and pointless, but I give it a kick as I shut the door. Makes me feel a bit better!

I call my new car Nanny. It bleeps and flashes at every opportunity, to tell me the road surface is uneven, another vehicle is close to me (eg overtaking in the next lane on the motorway - Durr), I’m too close to the centre of the road. What takes the biscuit is when it flashes up a cup of coffee to tell me I need to take a break. It does my head in.

My induction hob has a nervous breakdown if water goes on it - I tell it to calm down

We often tell the washing machine "to shut up we heard you the first time" with its insistent intermittent bleeps on finishing a cycle.

When we park our car, a warning message comes up to remind us not to leave passengers or pets in the car!!

I tell the fridge to shut up when I’m putting the shopping away. But I wish my washing machine would tell my phone when the wash was finished because I’m always forgetting about it.

The times when I have answered my phone, (obviously because I recognise my ringtone) to realise that it wasn't mine!

DD's car beeps twice whenever she drives past our local statue of Churchill.

My old Jazz doesn't have excessive beeps. When it tells me I have left the lights on or keys in I always thank it!

The only household item that annoys me is the air fryer which sounds 11 times when it finishes. I like symmetry so a prime number grates on me.

My Airfryer doesn’t beep the only thing that does is my tumble dryer and washing machine but they only do it for a short time then stop
So I m fairly silent
