There is a cute little girl's dress on Pinterest. There is a free pattern.

This is my query, has anyone made up anything from something like this, as I can't work out how you get the pattern, which if you print it will be on A4 up to the correct size?

Hmm. I know with sewing patterns from other sites, you print them out onto A4 and stick the sheets together with a glue stick. I hope this helps, and good luck!

I have just been looking for patterns for dressing up clothes for boys but there are very few. Princess outfits yes but how about some toddler size builders dungarees etc. Policemans outfit and doctors and nurses.

The ones in shops seem to be aimed at 3yrs plus and my DGS is a small sized two year old.

Thanks for putting the link in overthehill. Looking at it, it does appear to be printed on to A4 but you could check with a T shirt. It's a lovely pattern and the fact that she tells you how to make a pattern of the design yourself is amazing as so often getting the right fit is difficult.

I have used these downloadable patterns. You just need to make sure that your printer is set to print at 100% scale. You can usually check and make changes to scale in your print preview.

Very cute! Yes, go to Print Preview, occasionally hidden in Advanced Settings. Change the % to 100, as Portland says. Otherwise it will be a dolly's dress. That could be nice, too!

Love the dress, I may be a little rusty in sewing but I think I will give this one a go. Thanks for the tip on how to print the pattern.

I will take a look. I saw a pattern in a sewing shop today for a little girl's dress and it was over £7!
