Making Flash Cards?

I have made a set of flash cards for my two-year-old grandson
having discovered this site: www.homemade-gifts-made-easy.com/make-flash-cards.html .

All instructions in here, and it's easy!
That includes how to laminate without a laminator.
With laminating pouches (A6) I got cheaply from Amazon.

My printer won't even print in colour now, but b/w photos can look good too. Lots of animal pictures from online.

Very pleased with the result.

Just to say, I was lucky enough to find this when trying to buy some flash cards and not find what I wanted.

I was looking for some with picture and word on the front, and just the word on the back of the card, so that they can be used face down, as a game for the child to find the right one using the word only.

Useful hint about laminating! I can't be ar*ed to get the laminator out of the loft for small jobs, so an iron will be ideal.
